Mogao Caves of Dunhuang, China.

In 1947 – The Diary of Anne Frank is published.

In 1978 – The rainbow flag representing gay pride is flown for the first time during
the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade.


In 1992 – Space Shuttle Columbia launches the first shuttle mission to carry
Extended Duration Orbiter hardware.

In 1967 - The Beatles premiere the song "All You Need Is Love" to 400 million people
on a worldwide TV program.
