May (in Latin, Maius) was named for the Greek goddess Maia , who was identified with the Roman era goddess of fertility, Bona Dea , whose festival was held in May. It's April 29th On this day in 1953 – The first U.S. experimental 3D television broadcast shows an episode of "Space Patrol" on Los Angeles ABC affiliate KECA-TV. In 1967 - The Turtles releases "Happy Together" "A special note regarding the cover which was the last one to be designed without any of the Turtles' input. It was designed by Tom Wilkes who seemed to be influenced by The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper for the front. It was shot in the bleachers at Beverly Hills High School. As the group lounges in front, a gallery, immune to the contagious good vibes, sits scowling in black behind.
