In 1923 – The Arts Club of Chicago hosts the opening of Pablo Picasso's first U.S. showing, entitled Original Drawings by Pablo Picasso

In 1969 - John Lennon marries Yoko Ono at the Rock of Gibraltar in Spain.
In 1982 - The duo Buckner & Garcia appear on American Bandstand to perform their hit single "Pac-Man Fever," the first successful song about a video game.
In 2015 – A solar eclipse, equinox, and a supermoon all occur on the same day.

In 2021 – La Plume noire, an anarchist bookstore in Lyon, is targeted in an attack by approximately fifty members and affiliates of Génération Identitaire. After ransacking the bookstore, the group was left undisturbed in the neighborhood for half an hour without police intervention.French authorities made no arrests and held no trials regarding the incident; the case was eventually dismissed.
