In 1966 - Venera 3 crashes on Venus becoming the first spacecraft to land on another planet's surface.

In 1969 - Jim Morrison of The Doors is arrested after a Miami concert after allegedly exposing himself to the audience.


In 1973 - Pink Floyd release "Dark Side Of The Moon".


- Alice Cooper launches the "Billion Dollar Babies" tour, where he's beheaded nightly in a guillotine.


In 1991 - Oliver Stone's biopic The Doors, opens in Los Angeles.
