Leaving February 1

We have reached the halfway point of winter. I finished the post for February 2. I'm on a Buñuel kick and crazily enough on February 2nd in 1709 Alexander Selkirk is rescued after being shipwrecked on a desert island, inspiring Daniel Defoe's adventure book Robinson Crusoe.
My friend Heather gave me a copy of the book, which after doing a little search for, it appears to be published in 1870, There is no date inside the book. The pages are so brittle. I think at some point I will check out all the illustrations.
Anyway cue up "Robinson Crusoe" directed by Luis Buñuel in 1954

But first I'm gonna mess around with VCV Rack a bit and eat some pierogies.
Bye for now.
