Leaving January 7

Today I slept in pretty late. Had some coffee, and eggs, gouda and avacado on a cheddar roll around 3.

André Bazin said: "Cinema shows us a world that fits our desires"
Contempt is the story of that world.

Jerry Prokosch: Whenever I hear the word "culture," I bring out my checkbook. Come here.
Fritz Lang: Some years ago - some horrible years ago - the Nazis used to say "revolver" instead of "cheque book".

I returned to my study of Electronics after a long time off.(Read: distracted, depressed or just downright lazy). I reviewed the chapters on Magnetism and Inductance.

I did an exercise for the writing course (7 Great Ways to Write Life Stories). I had to write 20 facts about myself and a list of 20 discriptor words. Then I had to give a brief explanation of why I thought fact gathering was important. Then a little video about Framing Devices by the instructor. One example for a framing device the instructor gave was their record collection. Their first record was "Virginia Plain" by Roxy Music.

Throw me a line, I'm sinking fast Clutching at straws, can't make it

Now to work on the post for the 8th, and draw a bit before curling up with a book and letting my eyes get heavy.
