Leaving January 4

44.721170° N 107.54990° W
Those are the coordinates for Falling Block boulder in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming.
While looking up an Omri Cohen VCV Rack tutorial on YouTube, I got sidetracked by some other video talking about said geometric, geographic anomoly.
Today I woke from vivid dreams about getting threatened. "Please leave me alone, man I'm having a bad day." I said. "Well it's about to get worse!", the man wielding the gun replied. Then I woke up and got ready for work.
Not much of an eventful day.It was slow enough that I had some time to read the introduction, preface and first chapter of J.F. Martel's "Reclaiming Art in the Age of Artifice". Notes were taken. Herzog's "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" has been added to a To Watch list. It doesn't appear to be available anywhere online except with a subscription to Philo which at $33 a month is out of the question for me. Maybe I'll get the DVD soon. I see a lot of articles touting the return of the popularity of physical media as of late. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Speaking of which Anna's-Archive is apparently down... for now (?) So instead of using that, I just filled my baskets in both Thriftbooks and Abebooks.
I took a couple breaks. One to take care of drying some laundry, and the other to go get root beer at the market down the street.

I listened to Black Randy and the Metrosquad's "Pass the dust, I think I'm Bowie" and a little bit of Mohinder's "Everything" CD.
My coworker played some Sleepytime Trio. We were laughing about how a lot of bands from that era/genre sound very much alike.

My ears just started ringing, so I'm gonna call it a night. Bye for now.

"Moss Roses in a Vase" by Edouard Manet"

Mentioned by Donna Tartt in the introduction to Martel's book.
