Leaving January 29


Today I woke up at 2ish. I heated up some of the old coffee, and worked on some Algebra for about an hour and a half and listened to a few records.
Then I worked on the blogpost for the 30th and started working on the 31st. Walked by the bar for a bit to get some free ginger ale, and went to Davis for some snacks and smokes. I watched another episode of Orson Welles' Great Mysteries. Cueing up "The Exterminating Angel" to watch before/in bed.

Leaving January 21

Another cold and dreary day. I did some grocery shopping to get prepared for the weekend. It was crazy on the road and in the store. Thankfully patience helped me get through it ok. Took a little nap after dinner. Started watching Vamp but decided to get ahead of the game with the blog so I don't have to worry about making another post until Friday night. It's neat learning all this stuff about film, art, music and philosophy, but it is way more time consuming than I imagined. I barely have time for anything else during the day. Especially if I have to work. It'd be pretty cool to get paid to do this, wouldn't it? Planning on going to the VMFA tomorrow to hang out with my friends Kris and Paul. I think I want my main focus to be on "Progress" by Asher B. Durand. (In 2018, it was gifted to the VMFA by an anonymous donor, becoming the highest valued gift of a single work of art in VMFA's history.) We'll see. I'm also curious about the Alvin Leste...

Today I slept in pretty late. Had some coffee, and eggs, gouda and avacado on a cheddar roll around 3.
