Leaving January 2
Some books came in the mail today. Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delaney. Reclaiming Art in the Age of Artifice by J.F. Martel, and The Green Millenium by Fritz Leiber. Still waiting for my copy of the Tarot of Marseilles to show up. It seems to be sitting in a warehouse in Pennsylvania for the past week. Not much left of the day now really. I listened to Weird Studies Episode 150 : Sacramental Reality: On Arthur Machen's "A Fragment of Life" at work today. That was pretty cool, even though I told myself I would finish reading that story before I listened to the podcast. I'll get to the rest of the Machen story soon, even after having it spoiled. (Perhaps tonight before bed... and then wonder why I had such strange dreams in the morning.) Perhaps on my next day off. We shall see. For now I'm going to have a dinner, and watch this. Then I have to work on... I dunno... something. Or not. I'll let you (me) know tomorrow night if I did or not. (Also pictured is a picture of myself and 3 books I got in the mail on New Years Eve.)
