Leaving January 14

Woke up around 1:30.

The Poet: On the morning of the sixth day, the stars declined and the sun rose, and out of a handful of fire and dust, garbage and alcohol, God created Man.
Judith McGuire: He made a big mistake.

I watched "The Savage Eye" and had some coffee and a tiny bit of orange juice
Headed over to Artcade to pick up my records, and drop off my key. Odds and ends that I was attempting to sell.
Went grocery shopping with Zach. Came back home and had first meal. I should make Green Beans more often. Listened to some records.
Todd Rundgren - A Wizard, A True Star

Cat Stevens - Catch Bull at Four

Finch - Glory of the Inner Force

Read "Frankenstein and it's Transformations"
Downloaded these:
"Things As They Are: The Adventures of Caleb Williams" by William Godwin
and "Edgar Huntly : Memoirs of a Sleepwalker" by Charles Brockden Brown
,and these two Lorrie Moore books.

These came in the mail.

Looking forward to re-reading "Foucault's Pendulum" and reading some Gibson that I haven't cracked yet. (I've only read the Sprawl Trilogy and a couple of short stories from "Burning Chrome"). Geez I have so much to read. I'm still slowly making my way through Martel's "Reclaiming Art in the Age of Artifice" , Eugene Thacker's "In the Dust of This Planet: Horror of Philosophy Vol. 1" , Malraux's "Man's Fate", "On Divination and Synchronicity" by Marie-Louise von Franz, and I just now re-started the 1818 edition of "Frankenstein", which is what lead me to look up William Godwin, as he is the dedication in "Frankenstein". Which lead me to download "Edgar Huntly" as it was one of two gothic novels a certain YouTuber was raving over. The other being Godwin's Caleb Williams. Whick oddly enough is also the name of a professional football player. I guess I have no excuse for boredom. On top of my TRL, my TWL and my TLL, I need to make time for music, drawing, writing, studying electronics, French, the blog, and work. Not to mention the occasional social outing. What have I gotten myself into here? It would be fine if I could just not have to do the line cook thing. None of this other shit pays the bills though. Oh well. Things could always be a lot worse, right.
I made myself a rootbeer float and listened to the new bonus episode of the Weird Studies podcast on Spectrevision. and had a little nap. Now I'm gonna read some more and go back to sleep. Hopefully. Have to get up early and work on some other things.

Here's the blog playlist (so far) just in case you're looking for something to listen to. Bonne soir.
